The program was piloted through a Challenge Facility for Civil Society grant focused on people affected by tuberculosis and the stigma surrounding this disease. We gave cameras to people affected by TB and asked them to take photographs to share their experiences, challenges, and factors that support them. Each photograph was associated with a story contextualizing it and participants analyzed them to identify emergent themes.
Thirty photographs and their associated stories along with a Call for Action developed by the participants were shared at a gallery event that was held at the Indus Hospital. Participants, community members, NGOs, and policy-makers were present at the event.
