JOb Purpose

The Monitoring Associate will provide assistance to the program staff in developing performance monitoring plans and results frameworks during program design and implementation; creating monitoring systems, processes and tools and, contributing towards measuring, analyzing, and reporting results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support staff members in setting up systems for program monitoring.
  • Assist with the design and development of data collection.
  • Support the data collection process and data analysis.
  • Assist with literature search and writing and/or editing of documents.
  • Assist with data management and cleaning, and quality control.
  • Provide support to the team in carrying out various administrative duties.
  • Support monitoring and  inspection procedures.
  • Support the development of monitoring and impact indicator for the project’s success.
  • Provide feedback to the Monitoring Officer on project strategies and activities.
  • Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress reports on all project activities.
  • Coordinate with all monitoring functions to ensure an effective implementation of the monitoring process.
  • Assist the project personnel with monitoring tools and in supporting them in their use.
  • Assist the Helpline Operator’s activities through various points including maintained call logs, and resolving flagged cases, and completeness of the information collected.
  • Prevent any form of theft by performing data triangulation, cross-checks, and validation through ZM-EIR and facility-based registers on a regular basis.
  • Prevent hacking of the disbursements back-end system by the MNO by performing data triangulation, and validation checks on a regular basis.
  • Conduct field visits for monitoring activities.
  • Track all project inputs and activities in the project timeline and protocol to minimize delays, develop alternative plans if needed, and address errors or lapses.
  • Support in conducting detailed investigations for incentives disbursed after 48 hours.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Ability to travel (upto 50%).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or related field.

Required Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E.
  • Experience of working in public health/EPI or knowledge of the same will be strongly preferred.
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in English, Urdu, and Sindhi
