JOb Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities at the healthcare facilities related to the Integrated TB, Asthma, COPD and Mental Health Service Delivery in Rural Sindh (Tando Allahyar, and Tharparkar).  This will involve managing resources for field health workers, and community mobilizers/counselors and implementing intervention tools for the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the first point of contact between field health workers, community mobilizers/counselors, and district coordinator
  • Serve as the primary point of contact coordination between the Primary Healthcare (PHC) facility
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare providers and facilities to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of programs across Health Facilities.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with healthcare partners, NGOs, government bodies, and local organizations to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Coordination with public and private sector partners, health facilities and private practitioners to establish effective referral and linkage to treatment mechanisms. 
  • Collect data from the field team and ensure tasks are completed before the designated deadline.
  • Provide logistical, administrative, and operational support to the Primary Healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify and address gaps in patient care or service delivery.
  • Work with health facilities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in healthcare services.
  • Coordinate and support the development and delivery of training for healthcare staff and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure field equipment is being utilized efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage on-site field issues and keep a check and balance of personnel on the field.
  • Consult field staff about field visit schedules and follow-up of patients when required.
  • Resolves administrative issues for the field staff to avoid delays in work.
  • Ensure that documentation is correctly recorded by the field staff.
  • Ensure that defined SOPs and protocols are adhered to by all concerned in an utmost manner.
  • Ensure stocks and supplies required for the project are available at the concerned facilities without any interruption.
  • Receive and compile weekly/monthly reports from selected PHC sites.
  • Responsible for reporting any inventory shortage/application issues to the Program Manager.
  • Fluency in Sindhi, Siraeki and Urdu language strongly recommended

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Bachelors in Social Science, Public Health, or other related subjects.

Required Experience

  • 4 - 6 years previous field & data experience in the development sector.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data management (collection, cleaning and basic analysis)
  • Self-motivated, a fast learner who is ready to hit the ground running
  • Organized and detail-oriented, and problem solver with an elevated level of curiosity and who is an independent thinker
  • Good listener and maintains accountability for their actions.
  • Ability to work independently and under tight timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive in completing tasks and identifying gaps and needs

  • Available for local travel as needed
