JOb Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks, in addition to creating, implementing and automating testing in support of software test requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product manager,s to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans across multiple testing types (Smoke, Regression, Functional, System, Stress, Scale, & Sanity).
  • Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
  • Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Carry out regression testing to validate new releases and system updates.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs and work closely with developers for timely resolution.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements, QA best practices, and test automation initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Required Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Familiarity with automation scripting and programming basics (preferably in Java).
  • Hands-on experience in testing REST & SOAP APIs.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Working knowledge of databases (MySQL preferred).
  • A self-starter mindset — quick learner, proactive, and a great team player.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
