JOb Purpose

The Coordinator, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications will be responsible for coordinating and
executing communication strategies to promote public health initiatives. This role involves engaging with
various stakeholders, including government agencies, partner organizations, and the community, to ensure
effective communication and collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and events to promote collaboration and information sharing.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote public health initiatives in infectious
    diseases such as TB, Hepatitis etc
  • Develop and disseminate consistent, clear, and engaging messages through various communication
    channels/modes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and regional media contacts.
  • Support community engagement initiatives to raise awareness regarding key context-specific public health concerns
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to build capacity among community members and
    stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute training materials and workshops to empower field staff in ethical storytelling and
    documentation.
  • Collaborate with community-based organizations / volunteer groups to identify training needs and create
    relevant educational materials.
  • Identify and interview TB patients, ensuring their stories are documented accurately ensuring prior consent and confidentiality protocols.
  • Produce various content formats, including articles, videos, and social media posts, collaborating with
    graphic designers and videographers to create engaging materials to highlight programmatic milestones.
  • Create and manage interactive content such as infographics, photo essays, presentations and posters to
    enhance storytelling.
  • Work with the program lead to design and execute communication campaigns centered on program
    achievements, successes and patient stories.
  • Work with healthcare providers, community organizations, and media outlets to amplify patient stories.
  • Travel to project sites including interior Sindh.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Required Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in public health, communications, marketing, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience working with government agencies, non-profits, or community organizations. (preferred)
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau). (preferred)
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital communications.
