Regional Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To train, support, supervise and monitor the DIOs and DFCs deployed in the assigned region.
• To facilitate/guide the field teams in addressing field-related and/or technical issues.
• To support the field teams in liaising with the District Health Management Team, District Administrative Team, and other stakeholders at the regional/district level.
• To conduct monitoring field visits to the assigned region (comprising multiple districts) as per the work plan.
• To investigate and take corrective actions whenever any inconsistencies/irregularities/errors are suspected or detected
• To monitor and review the daily field reports
• To develop checks and ensure the field team is collecting/uploading/maintaining the field documents/ photos in a timely fashion
• To conduct weekly progress meetings with the DIOs and other field teams (as needed) to discuss performance, issues and challenges in fields
• To generate monthly reports summarizing progress, challenges, lessons learned and way forward for the immunization activities pertaining to the assigned regions
• To assess the training needs and conduct in-class or on-site training of the DIOs.
• To attend weekly review meetings to share all the field updates and challenges with supervisors and project teams.
• To conduct regular field visits across all sites in the assigned region.
• Conduct remote monitoring of field activities.
• Develop positive relationships with office and field staff, vaccinators, and the DHO team.
• Respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor and/or junior team member(s).
• Attend the monthly immunization meetings at the district level.
• Attend quarterly immunization review meetings at the provincial level.
• Comply with the organization’s policies and practices.
• Maintain moral and ethical conduct.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
• Ability to travel (up to 50-70%)
