JOb Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible to design a strong M&E framework to compile, manage and analyse all data from the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  Design:
    a) Design and implement monitoring and data collection tools and systems.
    b) Ensure that the M&E framework is aligned with the project work plan and/or donor requirements (reporting or technical).
    c) Initiate and complete data validation in line with donor requirements.
  2.  Implementation:
    a) Monitor project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results.
    b) Provide training to field-based staff on monitoring and evaluation processes and provide ongoing coaching.
    c) Maintain database to track field team progress by site.
    d) Closely examine quality of quantitative and qualitative data, to ensure that any discrepancies or issues are highlighted and addressed without any delay.
    e) Assist the project team in the implementation of data collection tools, where required.
    f) Prepare reports in line with reporting requirements of the donor.
    g) Develop presentations and/or reports for internal reporting.
    h) Disseminate evaluation findings and project results to donors and other stakeholders.
    i) Participation in core meeting(s).
  3. Perform any other duty as assigned by the line-manager.
