JOb Purpose

This position will be responsible to oversee IRD’s corporate communications function including development and execution of overall corporate strategy.


  • Oversee content development and design for all corporate communication materials, social media platforms and corporate website to promote IRD. Ensure IRD website remains updated at all times.
  • Develops and implements communications strategy that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand.
  • Work closely with Head of Health Communications.
  • Establish communications strategy (internal & external) with Senior Management.
  • Manage team/departmental budget(s).
  • Ensure and maintain capacity building of Corporate Communications team.
  • Create a strategy to increase IRD Global's visibility and improve engagement with international donors.
  • Donor liaisoning with respect to promoting IRD.
  • Act as media liaison and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; composes and distributes press releases as needed.
  • Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with various members of the media.
  • Assists executive leadership in developing presentations and other important corporate messages.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.


Required Qualification

  • Master's in Marketing & Communications
