Global Fund and IRD Joint Statement of Resolution

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and IRD Global are pleased to announce a complete, productive, and mutual resolution of all legal claims between them.

IRD and the Global Fund have taken steps to reconcile their positions, and this resolution reflects both parties’ shared commitment to closing a chapter of dispute and focusing on their respective and common missions to improve global health outcomes for the communities they serve.

The Global Fund and IRD recognize each other’s longstanding contributions to global health and reaffirm their shared commitment to the fight against tuberculosis, HIV, malaria, and to the strengthening of health systems. IRD and the Global Fund express a shared commitment to advancing this critical work to achieve these objectives.

In light of this agreement, both organizations look forward to putting this matter behind them, and to focusing all their energy on advancing their critical work in pursuit of better health outcomes worldwide.

The Global Fund and IRD will have no further comment on this matter.
